I have henna on my hair — can I still colour it?
Often yes — it depends on when you last put henna in. We do a quick strand test first to pick the safest way. Just tell us when you book.
Is the salon really ladies only?
Yes. Ela is 100% ladies only. Every colourist and staff member is a woman, and no one can see inside — so you’re completely comfortable removing your hijab.
Do you speak Arabic?
Yes. Our team speaks Arabic and English. Book and chat in whichever you like — you can message us in Arabic on WhatsApp any time.
Will colouring damage my hair?
We use imported, ammonia-free and low-ammonia colour with bond-repair treatments, and we work slowly. Your hair stays in healthy condition through the whole process.
What’s the free cut & blow-dry offer?
With any colour this month you get a free cut and blow-dry — a wash, a tidy cut and a blow-dry to finish, done by the same colourist. No extra cost.
How long does a colour take?
A global colour is usually 1.5–2 hours. Highlights and balayage take 2–3 hours. Your colourist gives you a time at the consultation — we never rush.
How do I keep my colour looking fresh?
We tell you which sulfate-free shampoo to use and when to come back. We also offer colour-lock treatments to keep your shade bright for longer.
